Choruku.Fit is owned and operated by Portal Nation LLC, located in San Jose, CA USA. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use Choruku.Fit.

1. About Choruku.Fit

Choruku.Fit is a free, offline-first progressive web app designed to help you track workouts, monitor fitness progress, and reach your fitness goals. The app helps you log exercises, sets, reps, and weights to visualize your progress over time.

2. What Information We Collect

Information You Provide Directly:

• Workout plans, exercise names, sets, reps, and weights
• Fitness goals and personal motivation text
• Progress notes and workout history

Google User Data We Collect (via OAuth):

When you sign in with your Google Account, we collect and access the following Google user data with your explicit permission:

• Email address — used to uniquely identify you in the app and authenticate your login
• Profile name — displayed in the app interface so you can see your account name

Important: We do NOT collect any other Google data. We do not access your Google contacts, calendar, photos, emails, or any other personal information beyond what you explicitly authorize.

3. How We Use Your Information

Google User Data is used exclusively for:

• Authentication: To securely sign you into Choruku.Fit using your Google Account
• Identification: To uniquely identify you in the app and display your profile name
• Google Sheets Integration: To connect your Google Drive and store your workout data in your own Google Sheets (only if you authorize this feature)

Your Fitness Data is used to:

• Display your workout history and progress charts
• Calculate workout metrics and performance trends
• Help you track consistency and progress over time

What we DO NOT do:

• We do NOT use your Google data for marketing, advertising, or promotional purposes
• We do NOT sell, rent, or lease your data to third parties
• We do NOT use your data to train artificial intelligence models
• We do NOT use your data for targeted advertising or personalized ads
• We do NOT share your data for credit assessment, lending decisions, or financial purposes
• We do NOT use your data for any purpose other than providing Choruku.Fit's core fitness tracking functionality

4. How We Store Your Information

Your Fitness Data:

• Local Storage: Your workout plans and logs are stored locally in your device's browser storage (IndexedDB and localStorage)
• Google Sheets (Optional): If you authorize the Google Sheets integration, your data is also synced to a Google Sheet in your Google Drive that you control
• NOT on our servers: Portal Nation LLC does not store your fitness data on our servers. Your data remains yours and is not transmitted to us

Your Google Authentication Data:

• Authentication Tokens: Your Google OAuth tokens are stored securely in your browser's secure storage (using browser APIs designed for sensitive information)
• HTTPS Encryption: All communication with Google's servers uses HTTPS encryption to protect your credentials
• No Token Storage on Our Servers: We do not store your Google authentication tokens on Portal Nation LLC servers

5. Data Protection & Security

We implement the following security measures to protect your data:

• Browser Secure Storage: Authentication tokens are stored using secure browser APIs designed for sensitive information
• HTTPS Encryption: All communication between your device and external services uses HTTPS encryption
• No Third-Party Servers: Your data is stored locally on your device and in services you control (Google Drive), not on Portal Nation LLC infrastructure
• Client-Side Processing: All workout data processing happens on your device, not on our servers

However, no security system is completely impenetrable. We encourage you to use strong passwords and keep your Google Account secure.

6. Third-Party Services

Google Services: Choruku.Fit uses Google OAuth for authentication and optionally integrates with Google Sheets and Google Drive. When you authorize these services, Google's privacy policy and security practices apply. You can review Google's privacy policy at https://www.google.com/intl/en/privacy.html.

Important: Portal Nation LLC is not responsible for the privacy practices of Google or any other third-party services. We only use Google services for authentication and data storage at your request.

7. Your Rights & Data Control

You have full control of your data:

• Access Your Data: All your fitness data is stored in your browser and/or your Google Drive. You can export, view, or download it at any time
• Delete Your Data: You can delete your local fitness data by clearing your browser storage. You can delete your Google Sheets data by deleting the sheet from your Google Drive. These actions are permanent and cannot be undone
• Disconnect Google: You can disconnect Choruku.Fit from your Google Account by revoking the app's access in your Google Account settings
• Browser Storage: You can clear all local app data by clearing your browser's site data for choruku.fit

8. Data Retention

Local Fitness Data: Your workout data remains in your browser storage until you explicitly delete it or clear your browser's site data. You control how long this data is retained.

Google Sheets Data: If you use the Google Sheets integration, your data is stored in Google Drive under your account. Google's data retention policies apply, and you control deletion.

Authentication Data: Your Google OAuth tokens are retained in secure browser storage for the purpose of keeping you signed in. These tokens expire and are refreshed according to Google's OAuth standards.

Choruku.Fit complies with Google's API Services User Data Policy and only uses Google user data for the specific, limited purposes disclosed in this policy. We do not use Google user data for any prohibited purposes including targeted advertising, selling to data brokers, training AI models, or any other use beyond providing the core functionality of Choruku.Fit.
